Cobb and Cherokee Counties which include great places like the cities of Kennesaw and Canton, just to name a few, are two of the counties north of Atlanta city proper that make up what is commonly referred to as “Metro Atlanta”. The term Metro Atlanta describes the sprawling layout of the Atlanta region. This region is home to some very recognizable companies such as BellSouth, Coca-Cola, UPS, Hewlett Packard and many more; making it a great place to work as well as live. One of the largest and most populated areas that make up the metropolitan Atlanta area, Cobb County started out as just a suburb of Atlanta. Cobb County can now stand alone as a thriving metropolis offering its own variety of shopping, night life, and dining, as well as parks and entertainment.
Kennesaw, located in Cobb County, is known for its deep history especially with regard to the Civil War. Some of that history is preserved in places to visit like the Kennesaw National Battlefield Park and the Southern Museum of Civil War, both of which bring visitors from all over. This area has close proximity to Interstate 75 thereby providing convenient access to downtown Atlanta, shopping and entertainment. The downtown area of Kennesaw is filled with antique shops, restaurants, cafe’s and specialty shops. Throughout the year there are activities such as the Big Shanty Festival, outdoor summer concerts, living history programs and so much more. During the holiday season, you can view the fabulous display of holiday trees, which have been decorated by area schools.
Canton, which is located in Cherokee County, is home to the county government and is also deep in history. Canton has exploded in recent years and offers awesome places to eat, diversified shopping areas, and a great Parks & Recreation Association. The city recently started a new partnership with the YMCA and is constructing a state of the art community center in close proximity to Heritage Park. Heritage Park is a 30 acre passive use area for pedestrians and bicyclists. There are also plans for recreation fields for softball, baseball, tennis and soccer as part of the continuation of the Etowah River Greenway. With interstate 575 running through Cherokee County and the Canton area, it also provides convenient access to downtown Atlanta.

Selling Your Home >Marketing
When you list your home for sale, you and your agent must work as partners to ensure it sells as quickly as possible, and for the best price. While you take the necessary steps to make your property look good inside and out, your real estate agent will go to work to make sure your home is exposed to qualified buyers.
Real estate agents work with each seller to develop a written marketing plan. This enables you to know what your agent is doing to sell your home and what you can expect to happen while your property is on the market. It will also include suggestions on how to make your home sell. There will be regular communication between you and your real estate agent from the day the listing agreement is signed. The agent will give you progress reports and feedback from the people who have seen your home. You will also have frequent opportunities to ask questions and discuss changes in the marketing strategy.
